Archera MCP Server — Connect in Claude

This guide walks you through connecting Claude to Archera using the Archera MCP server.

What You'll Need

• A Claude account with access to Custom Connectors.
• The Archera MCP server URL: https://mcp.archera.ai/mcp
• An Archera account.

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Open Claude or Claude Desktop.
2. Go to Settings -> Connectors.
3. Click Add connector or + -> Add custom connector.
4. If prompted for a connector type, choose Custom -> Web.
5. Name the connector Archera.
6. Paste the Archera MCP server URL: https://mcp.archera.ai/mcp
7. Click Add, then click Connect.
8. You will be redirected to the Archera login page.
9. Complete login, then review the consent screen.
10. Click Allow or Authorize to grant Claude access.
11. You should be redirected back to Claude, and the connector will show as Connected.

For Team or Enterprise plans, an owner may need to add the connector from Organization settings -> Connectors before members can connect it.

Claude registers itself automatically during setup using OAuth Dynamic Client Registration.

Quick Verification

Start a new Claude chat and ask a question that should require Archera data, for example:

• "What is my lifetime savings on Archera?"

Troubleshooting

• If the connector does not connect, confirm the connector URL is exactly https://mcp.archera.ai/mcp.
• If Claude asks for a client ID, make sure Custom Connectors are enabled and that Claude is using its current OAuth connector flow.
• If you get stuck on login or consent, try opening the connector flow in a fresh browser window.
• If you previously connected to an older Archera MCP endpoint, disconnect the old connector and add this server URL again.
